RIBA London Award Win

Chosen from a shortlist of 68 projects, Turnmill was a winner at the RIBA London Awards last night, Tuesday 3rd May.

The judges recognised that Piercy&Company’s ‘refined and careful approach to materiality and formal massing have created a building with street presence and solidity that stands apart from commercial speculative office buildings.’

The judges considered Turnmill to be ‘a successful building that skilfully responds to the character of Clerkenwell’s building fabric’ and thought ‘the strong curved form and deep reveals shows a generosity of articulation that will give the building a lasting appeal’.
