Kiehl's Regent Street Installation

5th September

Piercy&Company, in collaboration with Electrolight, have unveiled their porcelain and light installation for Kiehl's Since 1851. The installation is part of the RIBA Regent Street Windows programme, where innovative architectural practices are paired with Regent Street retailers to create architectural installations in store windows along the historic shopping street.

Piercy&Company's window installation draws on the roots of the beauty brand as an old-world apothecary and their exploration of the power of botanical ingredients. Marking the launch of their Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate, the display depicts delicate porcelain Quinoa seed husks, the active ingredient.

The combination of natural and manufactured, traditional craft and digital techniques is common ground for Kiehl’s Since 1851, Piercy&Company and Electrolight. This is celebrated by displaying not only the precious finished object but also the products and processes used in its construction.

For the first time in the history of the RIBA Regent Street Windows, the public can vote for the People's Choice Award, so please follow the link below to cast your vote:

The installations will run for three weeks from 5-25 September 2016, coinciding with both the London Design Festival and London Fashion Week. The Regent Street Windows project is run by RIBA London, in partnership with the Regent Street Association and sponsored by the Crown Estate.
