Evolving a new neighbourhood in the former London Olympic Park.

East Wick and Sweetwater
Balfour Beatty and Places for People

Piercy&Company is part of a six-architect team working on the regeneration of the Olympic Park Area in East London. The East Wick and Sweetwater neighbourhoods will define a considerable proportion of the western frontage of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the eastern frontage of the proposed River Lea Navigation Canal Park.

Piercy&Company’s plots are spread across three phases of the masterplan and include market, Private Rented Sector (PRS) and affordable tenures. Piercy&Company is working on 11 terraced houses and 73 apartments which aim to meet the diverse needs of 21st-century urban living. The robust brick and strong forms of the architecture echo the industrial heritage of Hackney Wick.

Sheppard Robson and Studio Egret West are joint masterplanners, with Piercy&Company working alongside Astudio, Alison Brookes Architects, Shedkm and Fabrik.
