Office in Dublin
An early stage study by Piercy&Company for the fit-out of a significant new office project in central Dublin, set between the green spaces of Trinity College and St Stephen's Green.
The scope of the study extends to the reception, circulation, common areas and the cyclist experience. The design work so far has focused on creating an entrance sequence which connects with the rich architectural heritage of the surrounding area and on key interventions which build on the wellness and sustainability aims of the wider project.
- Location: Dublin
- Type: Commercial
- Stage: Feasibility
The 'Dublin door-case' features throughout Dublin. By paying homage to this distinctive arched form within the reception space, the entrance experience takes on a civic quality. Simple, bold forms will be combined with a minimal material palette enriched with use of volume and natural light.
The atrium is an opportunity to create a tranquil, biophilic heart at the centre of the building that all users can benefit from, whether it be physically inhabiting the space or enjoying it visually from the upper levels.
